Shard :): One for Imperials, one for chaos and one for tau. I dunno how many missions as many as it takes I suppose I thought we'd start off with and introductory 2 missions in each campaign and eventually intertwine the three
Shard :): like 4 imperials and chaos we'd have the first two missions as the heresy but each from each others POV. and then the next missions will be set thousands of years later

Shard :): hmm so we can guess that O'shovah gets to the relic first but doesn't want to use it he is just defending it so it doesn't fall into the hands of the empire or chaos

Shard :): but how do we intergrate the revolting system, why did they do that is it because of chaos presence?
Culexus: yeah, thats what happens quite a lot with chaos invasions

Culexus: in one of the gaunts ghosts novels its done by broadcasting some sort of hypnotic/psychic signals 
Shard :): so lets tie up the missions. The empire, chaos and O'Shovah all hear about this relic so race to the system Tau get there first and thanks to their fancy scanners allows them to find it. But then chaos arrives and cause a bit of a raucous as usual searching for the relic. The empire come along looking for the relic also and to stop the revolting planets. And al the while O'shovah is slowing their
Shard :): progress finding it by launching guerilla style attacks on both of them
Culexus: well, i think the imperials should just be coming to stop the chaos invasion and rebellions to begin with, and then find out that the relic is buried there
Shard :): yeah that could work
Shard :): but obviously when everyone gets too close the last mission will essentially be the same mission for all three campaigns, the tau packed into the ruins, the chaos and empire bitchslapping each other trying to get to it and in the end cutscene all the commanders are locked in hand to han or something then in desperation o'shovah splits the relic in two with his dawn blade so no-one can have at that

Shard :): point the tau teleport out and leave the chaos there to bitch at each other some more so they all eventually leave the system except for the empire who bring the system back under control and thus the only real losers are everybody

Shard :): Man, this thing basically wrote itself, the only work left on this will be to finish the addons. And then design the missions and that will be easy if we organise ourselves properly

Shard :): so someone who was the emperor's rigth hand man or something so you get to see him die

Culexus: grrr can't find the story about the with the emperor fighting horus
Shard :): doesn't matter

Shard :): i'll make up the 2 tau names. later at home when I right up the synopsis of the storyline. 
Culexus: i'm pretty sure either Rogal Dorn or Roboute Guilliman were with the Emperor on Horus's ship
Culexus: but they got seperated and only turned up just as the fight ended
Shard :): Roboute thats the name no that i see it it's him the founder of the ultramarines
Culexus: Rogal Dorn
Culexus: thats who was with him
Shard :): You sure? thats perfect you're Dorn with the emperor making your way to horus you get sperated and then when you find him you see horus striking down the emperor then you have to kill horus.
Shard :): but obviously he gets away
Culexus: actually, horus mortally wounds the emperor, then the emperor manages to stop the chaos forces possesing horus, and the emperor manages to kill him
Shard :): oh lets make it that way then in a cutscene
Culexus: yeah
Culexus: rogal dorn get stuck fighting hordes of chaos while they're duking it out, and turns up just as the emperor kills horus, so that would work fine
Shard :): then you become the marine in the next mission in the thunderhawk landing the planet, but while you are flying to the LZ there's a nice little bit of narration being done

Shard :): saying who he is, how long ago the heresy was and what the mission was
